Film and discussion: "The state against Fritz Bauer"

The series "HINSCHAUEN - FilmRäume von Dokumentationszentrum Nationalsozialismus & KoKi" continues with the new thematic block "Zeitzeugen*innen vor Gericht". The German feature film "Der Staat gegen Fritz Bauer" (2015) by Lars Kraume kicks things off. The film follows the Hessian Attorney General Fritz Bauer, who was himself persecuted during the Nazi era. In 1957, he prepares the trial against the National Socialist and war criminal Adolf Eichmann and encounters great resistance in post-war German society. The film will be shown at the Kommunales Kino, Urachstraße 40. Tickets are available there at the regular admission price.
