Visual Arts Award

The "Förderpreis für Bildende Kunst" from the City of Freiburg and Sparkasse Freiburg-nördlicher Breisgau honors the commitment of young art students and supports two of them with 1000 euros each. The exhibition in the Städtische Galerie involves the three Freiburg art schools: the Macromedia University, the University of Education and the Edith Maryon Art School. The exhibition offers an exciting insight into the city's latest artistic creations. Opening hours are Thursdays and Fridays from 4 - 7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am - 5 pm. The exhibition is closed on public holidays. Admission is free.
