Frei Art Festival 2025 - Opening with showing of the summer residencies

The Frei Art Festival 2025 will take place again from September 15 to 21, 2025 and will kick off with a major showcase of local artists. Short pieces and new productions created during a production phase lasting several weeks at Studio Pro Arte in cooperation with the Frei Art Festival will be shown. These summer residencies are at the heart of the festival idea: they connect up-and-coming local artists with the international dance world and show how much creative power there is in the region - if it is given space to develop. We are looking forward to the following pieces, which will be shown as part of the official opening of the Frei Art Festival: Gabriel Torres from Lahr with Phoebe Wacker, Amelie Karl with "REFLEXION. Duft der Zeit" Jana Kindle from Freiburg with "Wir Körper" Hanna Rudischhauser and Madita Thatje from Freiburg with "Innenleben" Frieder Wagner and Cosima Dudel from Freiburg with "(Zwischen)räume" Felicitas E. Flemming from Freiburg, with Serafina Albrecht, Manuela Berg and Raphaëlle Polidor with "Look around you. Look inside you."
