Guided tour: Impressionists

Rugged cliffs or long sandy beaches, the sea and a picturesque sky: more than seventy works - for example by Jean-Gustave Courbet, Baptiste Camille Corot and Claude Monet - are on display in the exhibition "Light and Landscape. Impressionists in Normandy" at the Augustian museum shows the importance of the region for the style. The exhibition is based on the "Peindre en Normandie" collection from Caen. Participation costs 2.50 euros plus admission. Tickets are available in the online store.
