Five peaks and a ridge: from Freiburg to St. Peter ***

Walking time: approx. 5.5 hours (19 km) 870 m ascent and 430 m descent

Difficulty level: difficult, fitness, surefootedness required

Starting point: 8:30 am at the Schwabentor (Swabian Gate).

Return journey from St. Peter by public transport.

We hike partly on the beautiful ridge path from Freiburg

over the Schlossberg (castle hill), Roßkopf and other peaks to St. Peter.
