Garden dreams Freiburg

From February 14 to 16, Gartenträume invites you to Messe Freiburg. For three days, the halls will be transformed into a green paradise for gardening enthusiasts. Around 90 exhibitors will be presenting new products, trends and tried-and-tested classics from the world of gardening: from plants, outdoor furniture and technology to decorative accessories and creative design ideas. Visitors can not only be inspired and stock up for the start of the gardening season, but also find advice from experts, tips and design aids to make their own gardening dreams come true. Spring fever already sets in in February.

Visitors can experience first-hand how they can implement their own garden ideas in spacious model gardens. Experts will be on hand to offer advice and share their expertise on innovative garden design, planting, sustainable technologies and insect-friendly oases. Garden dream expert and plant doctor René Wadas will be offering his free daily plant consultation, to which garden fans can bring plants, their leaves or photos.

A highlight of the fair is the spectacular cooking show "From the bed to the grill". This is where the green world of the garden meets the art of gourmet cuisine: René Wadas, the plant doctor and garden dream expert known from WDR, will bring fresh ingredients directly from his garden. TV and show chef Ralf Jakumeit takes on the ultimate challenge: he conjures up a first-class menu without any preparation - and he doesn't know what to expect beforehand! Ralf also gives exciting tips on harvesting, increasing yields and protecting against pests.
