Georgia O'Keeffe - "Rebel of Modernism", painting weekend for all levels

Georgia O'Keeffe, one of the most important American modernist painters of the 20th century, was also an extraordinary personality. She led an idiosyncratic and legendary life in the New Mexico desert. The subject matter of her paintings - oversized flowers, animal bones and desert landscapes - is characterized by expressive colour and a bold and radical way of seeing. She has translated this into new and previously unseen images. Inspired by the paintings of Georgia O' Keeffe, we will create our own pictures with acrylic and natural colors. Please bring your own: Acrylic paints, acrylic and watercolor brushes, 1 acrylic block DIN A2, possibly watercolor block DIN A2, 4- 5 canvases approx. 30x50 cm or larger, water glass, rags, snacks. The natural pigments and the respective binder for mixing the acrylic and watercolor paints are included in the course fee of 15 € and are available in the course.
