St. George's festival with equestrian procession

On Sunday, April 28, the Catholic parish of St. George celebrates the memory of the church and village patron saint, St. George. The festive service for all generations begins at 9.30 a.m. in St. George's Church, Basler Landstr. 102. The guiding principle is: "Say yes to others, to life, to togetherness. The service will be accompanied by the church choir. At 10.45 a.m., the equestrian procession begins with the participation of local associations and concludes with a blessing for people and animals in front of St. George's Church. Afterwards, everyone is invited to a drink on the church square. The VAG bus routes 11 and 14 will be disrupted by the procession until around 12 noon.
