Gertrud Luckner's 125th birthday - reading and music

Gertrud Luckner, honorary citizen of Freiburg and active in the resistance against the National Socialists, celebrates her 125th birthday on September 26. The Bronislaw Huberman Forum has put together a program to mark the occasion, to which interested parties are cordially invited. Texts by Else Lasker-Schüler, Mascha Kaleko, Erich Fried, Peter Huchel, Paul Celan, Gertrud Kolmar, Avraham Ben Yitzhak, Rose Ausländer, Osip Mandelstam, Nelly Sachs, Nikolaus von Halem (Edition Reinhold Schneider) and Georg Trakl - read by Markus Laibach, Gerd Heinz, Johannes Götz, Alexander Vassiliev, Bernhard Wulff, Franz Brockmeyer, Muriel Cantoreggi, Wolfgang Rüdiger Idee. Planning and editing: Dirk Nabering. There will also be music by Gideon Klein, Ernst Toch, Karl Amadeus Hartmann, Marvin Feinsmith and Zsigmund Schul - played by Muriel Cantoreggi (violin), Dina Fortuna-Bollon (cello), Wolfgang Rüdiger (bassoon).

Participation is free of charge. Donations in favor of the Freiburger TAFEL are requested.
The event will take place in the Old Catholic Church in Freiburg, Rathausgasse/corner of Rotteckring. No admission for latecomers.
