Greenmotions Film Festival: Demain, la vallée + The Crazy Farm (OmeU)

The Greenmotions Film Festival will be opening its doors to you again this year. From November 5 to 9, we invite you to exciting films, discussions and encounters at the Kommunale Kino. Every year we dedicate part of our program to a special question. This year's special theme is: "Closing the loop: living within planetary boundaries". We look forward to showing you films that shed light on how we can move from a linear to a circular way of life that conserves our planet's resources and can thus exist in harmony with our environment. After our food sharing buffet on Sunday morning, we will continue with two films on the topic of agriculture. The short film "The Crazy Farm" shows the extraordinary agricultural project of the Taiwanese woman Humama, near Chengdu. At the age of 50, she left her job in the city to set up an organic farm where she grows vegetables and raises livestock in harmony.

The feature film "Demain, la vallée" poses the question of how agricultural change can be shaped fairly. In the idyllic Arac Valley, the Just Scapes project brings together growers, gardeners and elected representatives of the administration with the aim of developing visions of appropriate adaptation in the face of climate change. The films will be followed by a discussion with Agronauten Piluweri, Regionalwert AG and Gartencoop.

Information on accessibility: The cinema is accessible via a ramp. The toilets are also accessible with a wheelchair. The movie theater is equipped with an inductive sound system.
