Greenmotions Film Festival: Li Cham (I died)

The Greenmotions Film Festival will be opening its doors to you again this year. From November 5 to 9, we invite you to exciting films, discussions and encounters at the Kommunale Kino. Every year we dedicate part of our program to a special question. This year's special theme is: "Closing the loop: living within planetary boundaries". We look forward to showing you films that shed light on how we can move from a linear to a circular way of life that conserves our planet's resources and can thus exist in harmony with our environment. Li Cham (I Died) is the rebirth of three Tsotsil women. After losing the lives of their children and family members to patriarchal violence, some of them die. With the arrival of Zapatismo, their dreams blossom again and they defend the most precious thing they have: their land and a life of independence and hope. The film tells the inspiring story of the women who had to overcome a lot on their way to self-determination.
