Greenmotions Film Festival: Who if not you + Dario

The Greenmotions Film Festival will be opening its doors to you again this year. From November 5 to 9, we invite you to exciting films, discussions and encounters at the Kommunale Kino. Every year we dedicate part of our program to a special question. This year's special theme is: "Closing the loop: living within planetary boundaries". We look forward to showing you films that shed light on how we can move from a linear to a circular way of life that conserves our planet's resources and can thus exist in harmony with our environment. To kick off our festival, we are showing two films in a double session that deal with the question of what successful protest and activism can look like in the face of the worsening climate crisis: The short film DARIO portrays a young man who resorts to radical forms of protest out of frustration with current climate policy. In "Who if not you", a father and his son discuss the pros and cons of civil disobedience. After the film, Jannis Niethammer and Karl Braig, protagonists of "Who if not you", and Christian Belz, the director of "DARIO", will be available for questions and discussion.

Information on accessibility: The cinema is accessible via a ramp. The toilets are also accessible with a wheelchair. The movie theater is equipped with an inductive sound system.
