Greenmotions Film Festival: Workshop from the Holistic Compost Lab

The Greenmotions Film Festival will be opening its doors to you again this year. From November 5 to 9, we invite you to exciting films, discussions and encounters at the Kommunale Kino. Every year we dedicate part of our program to a special question. This year's special theme is: "Closing the loop: living within planetary boundaries". We look forward to showing you films that shed light on how we can move from a linear to a circular way of life that conserves our planet's resources and can thus exist in harmony with our environment. The Saturday morning of the festival is dedicated to the theme of composting. In keeping with our special theme "Closing the Loop: Living within Planetary Boundaries", we will look at how food waste and other nutrients can be returned to the soil to enrich it and re-establish planetary cycles. In an approximately 3 hour workshop, Andreas Doerne from the Holistic Compost Lab in St. Peter will give exciting insights into composting and the necessary conditions for healthy soils. The workshop will take place in the gallery of the Kommunales Kino. If you feel like it and have time, you can come to the screening of People at the Heart of Change and Ben bEartha: A Community's compost love story afterwards.

Information on accessibility: The cinema is accessible via a ramp. The toilets are also accessible with a wheelchair. The movie theater is equipped with an inductive sound system.
