Cross-border commuter consultation day

In the Upper Rhine region, many citizens live in one country and work in the neighboring country. Many live in France and work in Germany - or vice versa - or would like to move to the neighboring country or look for work there. This gives rise to questions about health insurance,
taxes, family benefits, pensions and employment.

For this reason, INFOBEST Vogelgrun/Breisach has been organizing two cross-border commuter consultation days every year for many years, where citizens can ask their questions directly to experts from the respective insurance companies and authorities. These consultation days are organized in cooperation with the EURES-T Upper Rhine network.

The cross-border commuter consultation day is held on site at the INFOBEST premises. Interested citizens who have questions about cross-border issues can obtain free information from experts during individual appointments of 20 to 30 minutes each
(in French or German)

Representatives of the following institutions will take part in the consultation day:

• Health insurance: AOK Breisach am Rhein, CPAM Haut-Rhin
• Pension sector: German Pension Insurance Rhineland-Palatinate, Carsat Alsace-Moselle
• Family benefits: Baden-Württemberg-West Family Benefits Office (child benefit), Caisse d'Allocations Familiales (Caf) du Haut-Rhin and NEU L-Bank Baden-Württemberg (parental allowance)
• Taxes: Freiburg-Stadt tax office, Service des Impôts des Particuliers Colmar
• Unemployment benefits in France: France Travail Bas-Rhin
• Cross-border employment: Service for cross-border employment services Haut-Rhin - Freiburg/Lörrach.

A photographer will also be on site to offer anyone interested the opportunity to have professional job application photos taken free of charge.

Appointments must be made in advance with INFOBEST Vogelgrun/Breisach (stating your insurance or tax number). Appointments can be made from 13.10. to 06.11.2025.
