Green wood workshop

Just in time for the start of the 5th season, the forest house (WaldHaus) offers the opportunity to build a carnival rattle out of wood in its cozy green wood workshop. Frank Janson, as an expert, ensures that all participants have an entertaining and amusing day of carnival and go home with a proper carnival rattle.

Courses in the green wood workshop
The forest house (WaldHaus) has been running a green wood workshop since it opened in 2008. Working with freshly felled wood used to be widespread. It is easier to work with than dried wood. In addition to working on the cutting axe with draw knives, other special techniques and tools are used. Our workshop manager Frank Janson and other experienced instructors teach the art and skill of green woodworking in various courses.
