Restless Feet
The Irish folk & punk band RESTLESS FEET was founded in 2011 by the two frontmen Markus Schillberg and Kai Ortolf, as well as violinist Marcel Bühler. The band originally came together for a one-off gig on St. Patrick's Day 2012. However, the response to the concert was so overwhelming that the band decided to give this genre a serious try. Numerous regional and national concerts followed, as well as joint appearances with folk-punk legends such as the Dropkick Murphys, Fiddler's Green, The Real McKenzies, The Porters, Uncle Bard & The Dirty Bastards, and ex-The Pogues guitarist Jamie Clarke.
On March 16, 2017, the five musicians from Freiburg released their second studio album "Homeward Bound". After touring Germany, France and Switzerland for several weeks, the band is currently planning their fifth music video for the song "Greenland Whale Fisheries".
