Hammond Jazz Night - "Walter Wanderly's Latin Mood"

The Brazilian Hammond organist Walter Wanderly is "the" organist in the Hammond scene when it comes to South American Latin. He played in Brazil in the 60s with the well-known and style-defining musicians of the time. He achieved international fame through his collaboration with Joao Gilberto and Astrud Gilberto, entered the US Billboard charts in 1966 with his interpretation of "Samba de Verao" (A.K.A. "Summer Samba" or "So Nice") and has released 43 albums under his own name !!! albums under his own name. He was formative for the Hammond organ in Latin and will receive a special tribute with this "Hammond Latin Night". He will be joined by Swiss-Senegalese percussionist Berenice Awa and Costa Rican drummer and percussionist Nelson Briceno.
