Wood fire part 2.

Take advantage of this rare opportunity to fire your ceramic pieces in a traditional Japanese anagama wood kiln!
This course is aimed at participants in the advanced throwing course who would like to refine the pieces they have created in a three-day wood firing.
The kiln will be operated together in Seelbach, with participants taking turns to heat the kiln. The final temperature of 1250°C is not expected to be reached until the third day, leaving enough time for rest and social activities.
Sleeping areas with sleeping bags and use of the bathroom are available for the duration of the firing. Communal catering is included in the course. Further details will be discussed during the previous shooting course.

The woodburning course can only be booked in combination with part 1 of the advanced woodturning course.
Course times: Fri. 10 am - Sun.6 pm

A communal lunch is included in the course fee.
