HUZA Fusion - Concert

HUZA Fusion is an innovative music project that brings musical traditions from Rwanda into a contemporary dialog with European classical music. Five musicians from Rwanda - with traditional percussion, inanga (shell zither) and modern instruments - meet pianist Konstantin Dupelius to develop a new, cross-genre sound language together. Based on East African rhythms, traditional playing styles and motifs from European classical music, new musical-performative forms and contemporary fusion music are created through improvisation, composition and dance.
