Families, couples or individuals who are interested in taking in children or young people in their homes can find out more on Wednesday, September 27, and Wednesday, November 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. each day. The information evening will be held at the Office for Children, Youth and Family at Europaplatz 1. It revolves around the reception of children and adolescents in full-time care, standby care or adoption. It deals with legal and financial framework conditions, the application procedure and placement practice. In addition, the audience will learn more about accompanying and supporting foster families, dealing with the family of origin and cooperating with the youth welfare office.
