Meeting point is on Sunday, 10.05 at 10:20 am at Freiburg main station on platform 8
Route: The hike of 12 km, 280 hm (approx. 4 hours walking time): We meet at the main station and take the train towards Schluchsee. We get off in Bärental and walk west towards the forest. The trail initially goes downhill. We follow the signs to Feldsee and take a break in a meadow. We walk uphill past the Raimartihof farm to the Feldsee lake with its spectacular rocks. We can walk around the lake along the rocks. We return to Bärental via wide forest paths. There are several shortcut options.
Bring along:
- Something to eat and at least 1.5 liters to drink
- Regional train tickets if available
- Sturdy shoes, weatherproof clothing (rain/sun protection)
- Any aids required (walking sticks etc.)
- Sun cream, sunglasses and headgear
- Optional: picnic blanket
