Marina Tsvetaeva (1892-1941) is considered one of the most important Russian authors of the 20th century. Her life, which was characterized by a passionate love of Germany, also took her to Freiburg for a long time when she was young and was later marked by revolution, war, flight and exile.

The traditional "October Concert", dedicated to Tsvetaeva's birthday, will feature musical and literary performances by artists who now live in Switzerland.

In addition to literary texts by Tsvetaeva, current stories by the Russian-Swiss author Maria Maria Thorgevsky will also be presented. Music by Dimitri Shostakovich, Geroge Enescu, Sergei Prokofiev and Mikhail Glinka will be performed
