Italian choir evening

The Goethe-Institut Freiburg and the Italian Consulate are pleased to invite you to a special musical event as part of the exhibition "In Goethe's Footsteps through Italy". On Friday, July 11, the renowned Daltrocanto Choir from Italy under the direction of Maestra Patrizia Bruno will be a guest at the Goethe-Institut Freiburg.

The choir was founded in 2001 and has been impressing audiences with its expressive and committed performances ever since. The ensemble has received several awards for its artistic quality, including first prize at the S. Alfonso Maria de' Liguori international competition and a special prize at the May Festival in Caserta.

International appearances have already taken the choir to renowned festivals, including the J. Brahms Choir Competition in Germany, St. Mark's Basilica in Venice and the Vatican, where it sang in front of Pope Francis.
In Freiburg, the ensemble will present a finely tuned program that thematically refers to the photo exhibition by Markus Kirchgessner and Patricia Wohlgemuth and enriches it musically.
