João Carlos Victor - Guitar recital

Winner of numerous international competitions, such as the Francisco Tárrega International Guitar Competition 2015 and the Vienna International Music Competition 2021, João Carlos Victor has been invited both as a performer and teacher to renowned festivals, concert series and radio and television broadcasts in Switzerland, Norway, Spain, Brazil, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, Belgium and Romania. He is currently Professor of Guitar and Chamber Music at the LUCA School of Arts (Lemmensinstituut).

In his concert, he invites you on a captivating musical journey through time and tradition, spanning centuries of guitar music. The path will take you from the baroque elegance of Robert de Visée to the classical sophistication of Fernando Sor and the contemporary beauty of Nuccio D'Angelo's atmospheric Due Canzoni Lidie. The lively rhythms of some Piezas Latino-americanas will take you to the heart of Latin America.
