At the INTRO - concert series in cooperation with the EWS Schönau we introduce you to newcomers and bands that have already captivated us.

After brilliant festival appearances at the Reeperbahn Festival, Immergut or the Superbloom in Munich, as well as support for Michael Schulte or Alice Merton, the Swiss newcomer of the moment, Joya Marleen, is now going on tour in Germany for the first time in April 2024.
As the first Swiss musician ever, she stormed the top of the domestic airplay charts with her debut single "Nightmare" and won three Swiss Music Awards in 2022, with the rare hat trick of "Best Female Artist", "Best Newcomer" and "Song of the Year". A coup that shines far beyond the borders of her homeland. However, this glow does not only emanate from the chart performance of the tracks, but also from the intoxicating naturalness of the young musician from St. Gallen, who does not mince words either in her enthusiasm about her success or in her compositions.
She loves cinematic images and the unusual in the everyday: fantastic hope, quiet kitsch, whimsical metaphors, vast fields, crackling campfires. Her soulful pop meets modern folk tragically dreamy lyrics creep into organic magic that reaches from Taylor Swift to well past Lana Del Rey.
On stage, she's so highly charming and endearing that she always leaves behind plenty of bliss at every single show. There will also be that at her first German headline shows in 2024, I promise.
