Jules Ahoi announces his new album "Magnolia" for September 2024 and the tour of the same name in October.
After two successful tours and numerous festival appearances in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Jules Ahoi returns to the stage in fall 2024 with his newly formed quartet around Muriel Bonn (cello, bass), Ornella Tobar-Gaete (violin, keys, electric guitar) & Johannes Rüther (drums) to present his new album "Magnolia". During an artist residency at the Bauhaus World Heritage Site, the renowned design school in Dessau, the 34-year-old musician found the inspiration that forms the basis for the new work.

His time in Dessau had a profound influence on the Cologne-based artist and his musical work, opening up new perspectives on his own artistic expression. And so the formation with which Jules Ahoi will take to the stage in 2024 will also be new: ,,We are going back to the beginnings of this band, bringing the handmade back to the fore and concentrating on the essentials.

We decided to take a step back, downsized the band, thinned out the arrangements and I produced everything myself at home. It wasn't always easy, but the result is an incredibly intimate and personal album that we as a band can be proud of and that we, Muriel, Ornella, Joe and I as a quartet, will present in fall 24."
