Coffee culture history - with tasting and visit to the coffee museum

The origin of coffee is associated with myths and legends. Ever since people discovered the pleasure of coffee, this beverage has had a strong influence on the coexistence of communities, peoples and countries. We follow the path of coffee from Abyssinia via the Ottoman Empire, its worldwide spread by the colonial powers and finally its arrival in Europe. With exciting stories and anecdotes, we look at the groundbreaking changes in societies, "visit" Sufi dancers, coffee houses, coffee ceremonies and enjoy coffee gossip. A tasting of coffees (including decaffeinated) from different countries and a guided tour of the Freiburg Coffee Museum round off the course.
