When Kuddel enters a posh villa in the Wiehre in the middle of the night, the plan seems simple: get in, grab some cash, get out. But what a surprise! Instead of slumbering blissfully, landlady Rosa sits wide awake in her favorite armchair - armed, determined and anything but enthusiastic.
Kuddel, on the other hand, has Käthe, Rosa's neighbor, who sees Kuddel as a gift from heaven, sent to make Rosa's life shine again. Meanwhile, Kuddel - somewhat confused by the developments - stumbles from one blunder to the next. When Käthe's niece Sissy turns up, who literally knocks Kuddel off his feet, the chaos seems perfect. It's a good thing that Käthe's esoteric friend "Guru" will restore light and harmony with wise words and incense sticks...or even more confusion?
