AI & creativity - between algorithm and authorship

Artificial intelligence writes loglines, creates visual worlds and simulates voices. Fascinating and unsettling. This panel looks boldly ahead, but remains grounded in the facts. It shows what can already be used reliably today and where the boundary between technical assistance and artistic deception lies. However, the more algorithms are involved in deciding which stories "work", the more style, authorship and responsibility will shift. AI can support and inspire, but it can also deceive, manipulate and remove our sense of authorship.
