The collaboration with John Butcher goes back ten years. The version with electric string instruments and electronics is new. "This powerful chamber ensemble with its incredible drive and a congenial combination of strings and saxophone".

The Kimmig-Studer-Zimmerlin trio has been performing on European stages with various projects since 2010. Continuity and the exploration of new things are equally important to the versatile trio. They have recently started playing with electric instruments and electronics, which led to the release of the new CD "Black Forest Diary".

Four artists from the fields of music, visuals and electronics who cultivate contemporary improvisation and the art of the moment will be invited to perform in the 2024-25 season.
