Children's sewing course in the fall vacations (from 8 to 12 years)

Are you curious about how sewing works? In this sewing course, you will get to know the sewing machine and how to show it the ropes. Afterwards, you will have mastered a little "tailoring lingo" and know what a seam allowance or fabric fold is and why fabrics are usually sewn right sides together. As a "warm-up exercise", we will sew a magnetic pincushion that you can use for your next sewing projects. Afterwards you have the choice: you can either sew a cushion, a bag or a gym bag. Please enter an e-mail address when you register and you will receive an e-mail with pictures of the projects and details of the fabric you need. Cancellation only possible until 18.10. Please bring along: Fabric (pre-washed), sewing thread, paper scissors, fabric scissors, pins, tailor's chalk, tape measure, snack, drink. 2.50 € for the material for the pincushion (cut strips, magnet and wadding). Sewing machines are available, but you are welcome to bring your own sewing machine (in perfect technical condition!) with accessories and instruction booklet.
