Piano with Goethe

The College of Music and the Goethe-Institut Freiburg are delighted to announce the concert of the "Piano at Goethe" concert series. The pianists will introduce themselves to the audience and introduce the works they will be playing. After the concert, which lasts about an hour, the Goethe-Institut invites you to enjoy a glass of wine in the presence of the artists.

Since 2017, the monthly concert series "Piano at Goethe" has enabled international piano students to perform outside the College of Music Freiburg. This concert series was initiated by the well-known pianist and university professor Gilead Mishory.

The Goethe-Institut Freiburg offers practice opportunities for musicians who are learning German at the institute in order to study music in Germany. In turn, many musicians from abroad study at the Freiburg University of Music. The concert series offers these international musicians an artistic platform.

The concert is supported by the Gesellschaft zur Förderung der College of Music Freiburg e. V. (Society for the Promotion of the College of Music Freiburg).
