What can art achieve in the face of the climate crisis? Mathias Frick's documentary film Climate Crisis Art gives a voice to artists who deal with ecological issues - from Olafur Eliasson to voices from the Global South. An inspiring contribution to the role of art as an expression of protest, a means of enlightenment and an impetus for social change. Around our premiere of Revue. On the Dying of Species, we are organizing a mini-festival from 26-28 March in which we will make the silent death of nature tangible in various formats. You can expect lectures and talks, a film screening, a movement workshop, art installations and interventions by Freiburg schoolchildren.
