Collective storytelling engines: On all fours - scenic reading

What if the end is the beginning? When the second half of life is very different from what we think? A woman disappears from her life and her marriage - not quietly, not in an orderly fashion, but "On all fours" (KiWi, 2024, translated from the English by Stefanie Jacobs). Her journey through the USA begins as a road movie, but then leads right into the female heart of darkness: the menopause. She loses her way, ends up in a motel room and recreates herself there: dreaming, in pain, and with deeply shattering lust.

Following its brilliant comic readings from "Im Spiegelsaal" and "Ich fühl's nicht", the feminist artist collective storytelling engines brings Miranda July's globally acclaimed prose to the stage and tells the story of a woman who stops functioning - and thus begins to live.
