Art break: Scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary

Art break: Scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary

During the short guided tour of the Augustian museum, art historian Antonia Ingelfinger presents a tapestry knitted from wool from the early 15th century. It depicts three main scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary: the Annunciation, the Visitation and the Adoration of the Magi. Participation costs the regular entrance fee. As the number of participants is limited, a free ticket must also be booked in the online store. The meeting point is the foyer in the House of Prints and Drawings.
