Curator's tour: Impressionists

Curator's tour: Impressionists

Rugged cliffs or long sandy beaches, the sea and a picturesque sky: Mirja Straub guides visitors through the exhibition she curated at the Augustian museum entitled "Light and Landscape. Impressionists in Normandy". More than seventy works - for example by Jean-Gustave Courbet, Baptiste Camille Corot and Claude Monet - show the importance of the region for the style. The exhibition is based on the "Peindre en Normandie" collection from Caen. Participation costs 2.50 euros plus admission. Tickets are available in the online store.
