Short Film Bash 2024 - The Blackwood Film Festival | Film Block 4

Blackwood Films e.V. - a young, non-profit Freiburg film collective that contributes to local film culture with a wide variety of projects - is organizing the "Kurzfilmsause 2024 - Das Blackwood Filmfestival" from 17 to 20 October. Short films by up-and-coming filmmakers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as in-house productions by the Blackwood Film Collective will be screened in seven one- to one-and-a-half-hour blocks. The venues are the Kommunale Kino and the ArTik. In addition to a carefully curated film program, there will be talks with filmmakers, several workshops, an award ceremony and a big party. This year, the audience can also look forward to a special guest: short film legend and Oscar winner Pepe Danquart will not only be present at the opening, but will also be part of our expert jury.
