La dolce vita!

Free entry

The Goethe-Institut Freiburg and the Dante Alighieri Society are delighted to present the concert La dolce vita!? with the German-Italian baritone Lorenzo de Cunzo and the pianist Tarek El Barbari. Inspired by the place of longing that is Italy - the "land where the lemons bloom" - the two artists will embark on a musical journey to sun, summer, good wine and plenty of amore.
In addition to well-known classics such as "Tu vuò fà l'americano" and "Torna a Surriento", listeners will also discover rarely heard but all the more touching songs from Italy and Naples.

Lorenzo de Cunzo is a lyrical baritone with German-Italian roots. He studied in the class of Prof. Hanno Müller-Brachmann and Prof. Ingrid Haubold at the College of Music in Karlsruhe.

Tarek El Barbari combines his passion for piano, singing and poetry in his work as a Lied pianist. He studied school music with a major in piano at the College of Music Freiburg and German language and literature at the Albert-Ludwigs-University campus Freiburg.
After the concert, we cordially invite you to join the artists in conversation over a glass of wine.

Admission is free, donations for the musicians are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you there in large numbers!
