Baden-Württemberg State Barbecue Championships 2025

When the aroma of glowing charcoal and spicy specialties wafts through the air, the time has come: the official Baden-Württemberg State Barbecue Championships, licensed by theGerman Barbecue Association e.V., will ignite culinary fireworks at Rauch&Glut in Freiburg on Saturday, March 15, 2025!

Just in time for the start of the barbecue season, ambitious barbecue teams will compete against each other to prove their skills and win the coveted title of State Barbecue Champion 2025. In four challenging courses, they will show what true barbecue artistry means - creativity, perfect timing and craftsmanship are required!

A top-class jury will evaluate each creation with a critical palate, because it's about more than just fame: the best will not only secure attractive prizes and prize money, but also a highly coveted ticket to the German Championships on July 26 and 27 at Ferropolis.

Visitors to Rauch&Glut can enjoy a unique experience: get up close and personal, look over the shoulders of the pros, be inspired - or simply enjoy the thrilling spectacle!
