Reading: Hans Arno Joachim - The flaneur at the window

On the occasion of the exhibition "Modern Times" at the Museum für Neue Kunst (Museum of Contemporary Art), the Documentation Center for National Socialism invites you to the reading "Hans Arno Joachim: Der Flaneur am Fenster. Reflections of a Jewish intellectual of the Weimar Republic". The focus will be on texts by Hans Arno Joachim, the clear-sighted and empathetic contemporary witness of the Weimar Republic, flanked by texts by his close friend Peter Huchel and his exile comrades Josef Roth and Hans Sahl, read by Dorothea Gädeke and accompanied by the sounds of vibraphonist Michael Kiedaisch. The event is part of the "Gegenworte" series and takes place in cooperation with the Literaturhaus Freiburg and the Museum für Neue Kunst (Museum of Contemporary Art). The reading will take place at the Literaturhaus Freiburg, Bertoldstraße 17. Participation costs 11 euros, concessions 7 euros. Tickets are available in advance from the Literaturhaus and Reservix.
