"Islands of Light" - Autumn concert of the Freiburg-Tiengen Music Association

On Saturday, 23.11.2024 you can once again expect a musical highlight:
"Islands of Light" - this is the motto of this year's fall concert by the Musikverein Freiburg-Tiengen e.V.

Among other things, the 3-movement main work "The Island of Light" by José Alberto Pina gives the concert its name. Light" and "islands" also play a role in other works, not least the concert itself is an "island of light" in the dark geopolitical and November period.

The Musikverein Freiburg-Tiengen under the direction of its conductor and music director Alfredo Mendieta presents a catchy, balanced, lively and varied repertoire of symphonic wind music. You can hear works such as "A Huntingdon Celebration", "Afterlife", "Concertino for Flute - Op.107", "How To Train Your Dragon", "Mancini!", "Roller Coaster" and "The Phil Collins Collection"
