Linocut: Taster course for beginners

Come into our experimental printing workshop, where you can try things out to your heart's content! Using a gouge and chisel, we cut and carve our desired motifs into the linoleum plates and then apply the ink with a roller. Using hand printing and a printing press, we transfer the motifs from the plate to the paper. This results in unique graphics. During the creative work phase, you will have the opportunity to try out different linocut techniques and - in between with a coffee and a piece of cake from the café next door (not included) - to gather new ideas. - Please bring sturdy clothing, motifs of your choice and a graphics folder (DIN A4) - all materials and tools will be provided and are included in the course fee. If you wish, you can purchase your own linocut set on site at the purchase price.
