Lit Lab: Eva Rottmann and Bea Davies - youth book and comic reading, moderated by young people (aged 14 and over)

Book tickets

Favorite books of the future, selected and invited by the Lit Lab team. Short readings and interviews between fairy lights, cushions and canvas.

18:00 "Kurz vor dem Rand" (Jacoby & Stuart, 2023) captures Ari's attitude to life pretty well. Unadorned and direct, Eva Rottmann tells the story of Ari's everyday life between a high-rise housing estate and a skate park, her clique, family and confusing feelings.

19:30 "Super-GAU" (Carlsen, 2025) is a cleverly interwoven comic story about eight people in Japan and Berlin who are connected in a surprising way by the 2011 Fukushima disaster. Artist Bea Davies sensitively shows how world events and personal destinies intertwine and how disasters affect and shape us.
