Lit Lab Special: Writing couch finale - reading performance by the youngest Literaturhaus authors

Clear the stage for the "writing couch"! Amazing stories, lie poems and poetic commands from the pens of thirteen young authors aged between 14 and 19. Created in the shade of the ancient giant trees of the inner courtyard, in the warm winter air of our tea kitchen and in the bright white cube of the Literaturhaus hall.

Our youth writing workshop 2024/25 was accompanied by poet Carolin Callies and author Kai Weyand, whose texts are collected in our latest Riso publication. The hosts and moderators of the evening are young people from the Lit Lab, our current participatory project for everyone aged 13 and over, who are working together on the Literaturhaus of the future.

The "Schreibcouch", our monthly workshop for young people, is looking for new members: apply now for the next round (start: October 2025), stating your name and age as well as a short text sample.
