Literary morning sport - Book club

Leyla spends her summers with her Yazidi grandparents in northern Syria and the rest of the year in Munich. Her view of Syrian history, politics and conflicts "suddenly opens up new insights, deeper insights" (Süddeutsche Zeitung). In her debut novel "Die Sommer" (Hanser, 2020), Ronja Othmann describes cultural turmoil with both tenderness and anger. Our "literary morning sport" is open to all reading enthusiasts; registration is requested.
