Liturgical implements and vestments

The life of the Cistercian nuns in the monastery, which was founded in 1224, was characterized and ordered by the daily structure of prayer times and the celebration of Holy Mass - in keeping with the Rule of St. Benedict to prefer nothing else to worship. The central spiritual significance of the daily liturgy is evident not least in the monastery's precious liturgical implements and vestments, which can be seen in this exhibition as part of the parish festival.
