Lukas Meister - Snowflakes in summer

Book tickets

Lukas Meister returns to his old home for a concert. The singer-songwriter was born in Müllheim
, grew up in Heitersheim, went to school in Staufen and studied in Freiburg.
He then decided to move to Berlin, as one does as a southern German. There
he made music his main profession and has since toured successfully throughout the German-speaking world, mostly solo, but occasionally for a few years with his colleague Sarah Lesch, as whose support and accompanying musician he brought the sold-out Jazzhaus to cheers in 2017.
The multi-award-winning multi-instrumentalist has now released his fifth album. It is called "Snowflakes in Summer", the title of which he generated using AI, but the songs were written, played and recorded by the master himself. In his lyrics, he deals with the really big questions: Where should you definitely go, and why not to Berlin? How can you make the end of the world as pleasant as possible? One hundred euros - how much is that in melon? And what does the world look like from the perspective of a snowflake?
Between the songs, the master climbs to rhetorical and humorous heights, ranting about partner payback cards and bar conversations, shaking the boundaries of musical cabaret before returning to the guitar, on which he is a virtuoso accompanist. Along the way, he spices things up with a pinch of melancholy or a detour into Italian - it's guaranteed not to be boring!

"Randompohilosophical song gems. Like a hot knife through butter."
(Fortuna Ehrenfeld)
