Martina Hefter: Hey good morning, how are you? - Reading performance with Patrice Lipeb, moderated by Martin Bruch

Juno is an artist, she dances and plays theater. During the day, she cares for her seriously ill husband Jupiter. And at night, when she once again can't sleep, she chats with love scammers on the Internet. An amazing digital exchange ensues with "Owen_Wilson223", who Juno soon discovers is Benu from Nigeria. Who is lying to whom here? Clear-sighted and funny, laconic and confident, Martina Hefter tells of needs and desires - and of how far one is prepared to go for love.

"Hey good morning, how are you?" (Klett-Cotta, 2024) is Martina Hefter's fourth novel after sixteen years without a prose publication and has been awarded the German Book Prize, among others. The Leipzig-based author and performer will be accompanied by sound artist Patrice Lipeb.
