Matinee: The silver treasure from the Glottertal valley

The silver treasure from the Glottertal valley is the focus of the matinee at the archaeological museum "Colombischlössle". The spectacular coin find lay in the ground for 700 years. Its discovery caused quite a stir and provided new insights into medieval coinage. Archaeologist Andreas Haasis-Berner from the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments will describe the exciting circumstances of the find, the value and significance of the treasure. The event will be accompanied by music from the "Freiburger Bassballett" under the direction of Michael Pöhlmann. An event organized by the Friends of the Archaeological Museum in cooperation with the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments. Participation costs 5 euros, concessions 4 euros.
