Matinee reading "Ich erröte vom Schaft bis zur Sohle. Shoe stories"

Free entry

Presentation of the anthology with 30 stories by authors from Germany, Switzerland and Austria, including Katrin Seglitz and Nelio Biedermann, edited by Wolfram Schneider-Lastin and Christa Prameshuber.

Shoes hold memories, they tell of those who wear them, of their lives and their fate. They are an expression of an attitude to life and reflect identity and belonging. Shoes as a symbol and metaphor appear again and again in literature, but rarely have they been placed so consistently at the center of literary narratives as in this special collection of original stories.

Stories in which shoes are not just any footwear or props, but the real protagonists, the pivotal points of the plot.
